Nancy Davis Dilzell

Nancy Davis Dilzell passed away at 91 in Grand Junction, Colorado, on June 15, 2025. Born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, on May 11, 1934, to McKinley & Elizabeth Davis.

Nancy married Bill Dilzell on Sept 12, 1957, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Because she was the wife of a Military Pilot, she moved all over the country, living in many places, including Warren, NJ, Wooster, Ohio, and Grand Junction, CO.

Nancy attended Nursing School in Kentucky and became a full-time RN. She was the school Nurse at Watchung Hills Regional High School in 1975. She was also a full-time mother from September 11, 1958, until June 15, 2025.

She was an amazing wife, mother, and friend to all she met, with the volunteering of her time to the WHRHS booster football club for many years, being a full-time school nurse, local hospital, and to all of her neighbors.

Nancy is survived by her brother Mac Davis, three sons, Dean, Cary, and Troy, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill Dilzell.

There will be a celebration of life at The Fountains at Hilltop, Friday, June 27, at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hope West, a Hospice service of Grand Junction.
