Palliative care is specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses. It focuses on providing patients with relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family. Through Palliative Care we offer three separate programs designed to meet the needs of our patients.

When illness or tragedy affects a loved one, children often need help finding ways to cope with the impact. HopeWestKids is our program for grieving children and teens. Experienced counselors also help parents learn the best way to help their children as a loved one is seriously ill or dying.
