Clara J. Beyeler

Clara J. Beyeler of Fruita, CO, died Sunday morning, July 20, 2025, following a prolonged illness. She was 95. Mrs. Beyeler has been a resident of Fruita for 52 years.

She was born Clara Jane Every on January 25, 1930, in Hotchkiss, CO., to Walter B. and Martha E. Every. She spent her childhood attending schools in Hotchkiss and graduated in 1949. After graduation, she moved to Green River, UT. Where she met and married Samuel R. McDougall (now deceased). They had two children. Samuel P. McDougall (died in 1990), and Janie R. (McDougall) Fix of Fruita, CO. 

Clara married Fred R. Beyeler, DVM, on May 19, 1973, in Las Vegas, NV. He was the love of her life. He passed away in 2016.

Mrs. Beyelers’ interests included crocheting, sewing, and making porcelain dolls. She has several 1st Place and Best in Show ribbons for her beautiful “Babies”!

Survivors include her daughter Janie Fix (Greg), Fruita, CO., one stepson, Arnie Beyeler (Barbara), Atlantic Beach, FL., two granddaughters, Heather Fredericks (Dave), Easton, PA. Brook Bridge-Stephens, Fruita, CO, three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

Her ashes will be interred with Dr. Beyelers’ ashes at the Veterans Cemetery in Grand Junction, CO. Per her request, there will be no services.
