HopeWest is celebrating its donors, volunteers and the community during the Grand Junction Black Tie & Boots Gala themed Winds of Hope on Saturday, February 22. The sold-out event will begin at 6 p.m. at Two Rivers Convention Center.

The evening’s events will have a mix of mission and fun, beginning with a presentation of the Winds of Hope Awards to recognize those who have been instrumental in our past as we position HopeWest for the future.

“For 27 years, our supporters have understood the importance of bringing dignity to the end of life and serving those who are grieving, aging, or needing additional support,” said Christy Whitney Borchard, President and CEO of HopeWest. “Through generosity, our community has enabled HopeWest to provide the kind of care we all want for our loved ones—and for that we thank you. By supporting our mission, you assure HopeWest is able to meet the growing needs of our community.”

The night will continue with a special presentation by nationally recognized speaker and hospice advocate, Patti Moore, followed by a silent auction, live auction and dancing.

Proceeds from this event will help fund our mission of profoundly changing the way our community experiences aging, serious illness and grief – one family at a time.

Christy Whitney Borchard, President & CEO of HopeWest, will be available for media interviews from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at the event.
