Minona Lewis Gilmore, of Grand Junction, Colorado mother to Dr. Lacey Berumen and Nicole Lee, passed away on March 22, 2023. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her daughter’s home in Grand Junction, Colorado, surrounded by family.

Known for her amazing peach ice cream and holiday pies, Minona will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Lacey, and Nicole; their husbands, Anthony and Bobby; her grandchildren, Anthony, Kirsten, Chanel, Shelden, Dustin, Robby, Tyler, Felicia, and Brooklyn; and fourteen great-grandchildren; her brother Mac Lewis of Cody, Wyoming, and sister Ramona Thun of Utah; her friend Mel Heinecke, who broke her heart while on her deathbed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Alloma Lewis, and loving husband, Jack Gilmore
