Cedaredge, Colorado resident, Linda C. Puglia, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the Hopewest Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. She just turned 76. No formal services will be held.

On January 5, 1945, Linda was born to Benjamin and Virginia (McDonald) Carlyn in Lynn, Massachusetts. Her family moved throughout the country before settling in Reading, Massachusetts. After graduation, Linda furthered her education at Children’s Hospital School of Nursing becoming, a very compassionate Registered Nurse.

On December 22, 1967, Linda married the love of her life, Carl J. Puglia, in Reading, Massachusetts. They have resided in Cedaredge, Colorado the past 18 years moving, from Salem, New Hampshire. Linda was an avid painter who created the most beautiful Christmas, birthday, and other special occasion cards with amazing ocean and mountain scenes. Linda enjoyed discussing politics with Carl, coffee time with friends, and daily visits with her girlfriends.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Carl, and daughters Chris of Austin, Texas, and Leigh; three sisters: Marcia Carlyn of Vancouver, British Columbia; Patricia Carlyn of Cincinnati, Ohio; Debbie Hood; and three wonderful grandsons. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a very dear friend, Bill Yearsley.
