Doug, you are off to your next adventure. What life will you lead in your next life now that you’ve led so many lives in this one? You were an Adventurer, Explorer, Organizer, Community Leader, Teacher, Geologist, Mountaineer, Traveler, Whitewater Boater, Skier, Community Activist, Connector, Canyoneer, Researcher, Rock Climber, Wilderness Ice Skater, Hiker, Backpacker, Ocean Kayaker.

Above all, you were my adventure guide, companion, and love for 29 years. Rest now – you’ve certainly earned it.
