Grief Meets the Canvas
Grief Meets the Canvas
Grief Meets the Canvas—led by artist, author, and HopeWest volunteer Ronna Webb—is a supportive and welcoming space where individuals gather to explore and express their emotions through the healing power of art. No artistic experience is needed. This group is about expression and reflection, not perfection.
Grief is a deeply personal journey, and each story of loss is unique. In this group, the canvas becomes a safe place to gently explore the layers of sorrow, love, memory, and meaning that accompany loss. When words feel inadequate, art can help give shape and color to what lives inside.
Through guided prompts and shared reflection, participants are invited to connect with their feelings, gain insight into their grief process, and discover creative coping tools. The group experience also offers the comfort of community—being witnessed, understood, and supported by others who are navigating their own paths of loss.
Registration is required by March 17.
