The presentation begins with an overview of contemporary work on complicated grief, then explores strategies to support people experiencing complicated forms of grief.  This program is recommended for health and social service clinicians and others working in hospice, palliative care, counseling, hospital, nursing home, funeral home or faith community.

This educational program combines presentations by experts with video, discussion and additional complimentary learning materials. The program is two hours, with an additional 30 minute post-program discussion required for CE credits.

Each program includes 30 minute local panel discussion of neighborhood issue/concerns about complicated grief.

Target Audience:

Health and social service clinicians and others working in hospice, palliative care, counseling, hospital, nursing home, funeral home or faith community.

Admission to this program is being offered free to our community through generous support of Taylor Funeral Service (Delta) and Martin Mortuary (Grand Junction).

This program is valid for 2.5 hours of CE Credit. CE credits for this program may only be obtained through Hospice Foundation of America (HFA). Cost applies.  CE credits for this program available through Hospice Foundation of America.
