Dr. Ellissa Tiller, joined physician leaders from across the nation at the American Association of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) program, Ascend. The physician leadership conference held in Oakbrook, Illinois featured influential visionary in the history of hospice and palliative medicine, Dr. Martha Twaddle.
Dr. Tiller participated as both a facilitator and speaker and is also scheduled to lead the AAHPM Leadership Program in March 2019.
“The sessions were very interactive, and included many leadership pearls, specific to physicians,” said Dr. Tiller. “I’m looking forward to leading the pre-conference sessions at the Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care and share practical tips for early stage leaders in hospice and palliative care.”
